With over 20 years of experience, Adriana specializes in strategic planning, digital marketing, and partnership development. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at major financial institutions, where she led initiatives that boosted revenue, enhanced customer experiences, and strengthened brand presence in competitive markets.

Amit Soni is the Vice President, Controller at Accion Opportunity Fund, where he leads accounting and financial reporting operations with a focus on regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Prior to AOF, he spent over a decade at BlackRock, where he led audits under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, managed M&A finance integrations across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the U.K., and served as legal entity controller for four broker-dealers. He also held roles at AIG and EY, bringing deep expertise in technical accounting, financial governance, and compliance.

Cassie Ferrer is the Vice President of Underwriting at Accion Opportunity Fund, bringing over 19 years of experience in financial services. She has led underwriting teams across small business, commercial, and private wealth divisions at institutions including Citibank, Truist, and Wells Fargo. Cassie holds an MBA and a BA in Finance and is currently a CPA candidate pursuing a PhD in Finance. Based in Florida, she is dedicated to advancing inclusive financial solutions that support underserved small business owners.

Eric Trux is the Senior Vice President, Treasurer at Accion Opportunity Fund, bringing deep expertise in capital markets and financial risk management within the banking industry. He is skilled in interest rate risk management, mortgage portfolio management, mortgage servicing hedging, and trading market risk. Eric has built a career focused on managing complex financial instruments and optimizing treasury operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University and is a CFA Charterholder.

John Foxgrover is the Chief Capital Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund, bringing over 30 years of experience in banking, capital markets, and specialty finance. He joined AOF in January 2025 and has held senior treasury and capital markets roles at Fundbox, Oportun, and First Marblehead, focusing on small business and consumer lending. Earlier in his career, John was a banker at Wachovia and Bank of America, delivering structured finance and securitization solutions for consumer and commercial finance companies. His expertise spans liquidity strategy, credit structuring, and financial innovation.

John Inglis-Arkell is the Vice President of Capital Markets at Accion Opportunity Fund, where he leads the organization’s funding strategy through debt and loan sales. He manages relationships with more than 30 capital partners, including banks, CDFIs, foundations, corporations, and other financial institutions. John is responsible for negotiating and securing term loans, impact investments, and lines of credit from banks, high net worth individuals, and philanthropic investors. He also oversees loan pricing, buyer due diligence, and closings for AOF’s small business loan sales. Prior to joining AOF, John spent over a decade in private equity. He graduated with high honors from the University of California at Davis.

Joshua Miller is the Vice President of Research and Policy at Accion Opportunity Fund, where he leads the organization’s research and government affairs efforts. He uses data-driven analysis to shape public policy and advocate for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and underserved entrepreneurs. Joshua brings deep expertise in translating research into actionable insights that advance inclusive economic policy and strengthen support for small business owners nationwide.

Kevin Gabel is the Vice President of Product at Accion Opportunity Fund and a senior financial services leader with over 20 years of experience in product strategy and sales enablement. Based in Atlanta, he has led initiatives across small business lending, fintech, commercial leasing, treasury services, and fraud solutions. Kevin brings deep industry expertise across a wide range of sectors, including transportation, manufacturing, hospitality, food and beverage, startups, and global brands.

Meaghan Bever is the Chief Compliance Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund, bringing over 25 years of experience in financial services compliance. She has held roles at major institutions including Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo, and was the first compliance hire at a fintech, where she built the department from the ground up. Meaghan is a licensed attorney and holds both the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designations. She brings deep expertise in regulatory oversight, risk mitigation, and compliance program development.

Meredith Medlin Dooley is the Vice President of Partnerships and Programs at Accion Opportunity Fund, where she leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of educational and advisory programs that serve over 10,000 small business owners each year. Since joining AOF in 2016, she has built and scaled offerings including online learning, one-on-one advising, cohort-based programs, grant initiatives, and events. Meredith holds degrees from Boston University and Georgetown University, and currently resides in the New York City area.

Michael Singer is the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Accion Opportunity Fund, where he oversees all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. He brings over 20 years of experience leading high-performing FP&A teams, with a focus on commercial and consumer lending. Michael has deep expertise in financial modeling, performance analysis, and aligning financial strategy with business goals in the financial services sector.

Nicole Van Der Tuin is the Chief Customer Experience Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund and an award-winning entrepreneur recognized by Fast Company as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business. She founded First Access and MicroWorld, fintech platforms that unlocked nearly $100M in capital and reduced loan processing time for over 170,000 entrepreneurs across five continents. Her work in financial inclusion has been featured in more than 160 publications, events, and graduate programs. Nicole holds degrees from Columbia University and Kenyon College.

Whitney Martin is the Vice President of Service Delivery at Accion Opportunity Fund, where she leads program execution and customer experience initiatives. With over a decade of experience in financial services, she has held roles at Boston Consulting Group, Oportun, and AOF. Whitney brings expertise in process optimization, change management, and data-driven strategy to drive operational efficiency and deliver high-quality service to small business clients.
